CORY STRAND "LET THE RIGHT ONE IN: A REINTERPRETATION" 12CDR (AOW 358)

I feel as though a few people have probably been waiting years for me to do this one; even i'm a little surprised it's taken me this long to get to it!  Let The Right One In is simply one of the finest vampire films of all time, and a beautiful film in its own right as well.  Johan Soderqvist's score is equally impressive, trafficking in nervous ambience, muted horror, and giallo-style explosions of violence.  In working with the score, I've preserved the anxiety and extended the faux-calm and beauty that permeate the work, resulting in twelve EP-length ambient compositions that seem choked in nervous fog as well as thick with a glassinine serenity.
Packaged in an oversize DVD case in a limited edition of 5 copies.  $60 ppd. in the United States, $76 rest of world.
